The International Formulations Business

The International Formulation Business of Nicholas Piramal India Limited focuses on the manufacture, distribution (supply) and marketing of anesthetic and parenteral products used in the operating rooms and critical care Units.

With the acquisition of Rhodia’s anesthetic business, Nicholas Piramal India Limited now has access to over 90 countries for exports, from state of the art manufacturing facilities in the United Kingdom and India. 

The following products are currently manufactured and exported 
Halothane - Inhalation anaesthetic
Isoflurane – Inhalation anaesthetic
Polygeline – Plasma volume expander

GLOBAL CRITICAL CARE BUSINESS

In addition, through a licensing agreement with AstraZeneca, Nicholas Piramal India Limited also manufactures and exports Tetmosol^® (monosulfiram) soap in selected markets. Tetmosol^® is an antiscabies.
