We have a dedicated R&D department focused on developing strong competencies for our wide range of products. It is built over a sprawling 2000 square feet and supported by a large pool of scientists who continuously work towards innovating existing products by developing efficient processes. Impurity Profiling and Analytical Method Development are just two components of the Nicholas R&D hallmark.

With us, Contract Process Research activities such are the preparation of Drug Master Files, are the order of the day. Our R&D facilities is equipped with technologies such as UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, IR Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatographs, HPLCs, Digital Polarimeter, Autotirators, Humidity chambers, etc. We also derive extraordinary strength from the central R&D cell of 'The Quest Institute Of Life Sciences' (formerly Hoechst Marrion Roussell), which was acquired by Nicholas Piramal India Limited in 1998. Currently, there are about 200 scientists working on research for new chemical entities and herbal products. The institute is equipped with the latest technologies in the preparation and the testing of new chemical entities and their intermediates for structure elucidation, purification, as well as impurity profiling.
