Will more sexual intercourse lower the frequency of erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction is the condition which is present in the major proportion of the men population around the world. In Pirkanmaa, Finland, there was the 5 years study conducted which showed the interaction of the erectile dysfunction and its medications. While on the other hand, another same study was conducted, in which two groups were made. Men who have done sexual intercourse for the longer duration of time and for the men who have done it with the less frequency, the age group that was chosen for this condition includes the 55-79 years. Not only the results were amazingly according to the hypothesis, but it also showed that the increased frequency of doing the sexual intercourse in the week will reduce the chances of erectile dysfunction.
According to the researchers, sexual intercourse done once per week is quite healthy and it will expose less for the problem of erectile dysfunction, while on the other hand, men who are not doing sex for once a week are more predispose to erectile dysfunction. Hence, it was proposed, that there is the inverse relationship between the sexual intercourse frequency and erectile dysfunction. Along with this, it was also studied that men who are also using the erectile dysfunction medications like Viagra etc are having the problem where their cardiovascular system is involved and it is producing the adverse results for them.
Other conditions beside erectile dysfunction which are seen at the age groups having the less number of sexual intercourse include the smoking, diabetes and other chronic conditions, CVD, BMI, hypertension and many more. Most of these men are unable to perform because the medications they are taking have the erectile dysfunction as the side effect.
For men who are doing the sex less than once per week, the incidence is as high as 79 cases in 1000, while men who are doing sexual intercourse for at least once in a week have it 32 in 1000 men. On the hand, when the frequency of sexual intercourse has increased for more than 3 in one week, the erectile dysfunction is as less as 12 in 1000 and it is quite phenomenal. Not only this, the frequency of morning erection frequency has also shown to be the factor in it too. In Tampere University Hospital, this research has been accepted where it states that the regular sexual intercourse will help in the prevention from erectile dysfunction.
